Converting an original zucchini bread recipe is easy once you know the ingredients to substitute. I love zucchini recipes. The bread is one of my favorites.

One of my all time favorite cookbooks is The Vegetarian Epicure written in 1973 by Anna Thomas. This recipe for French bread has to be the easiest bread I have ever made...it is my tried and true, go-to anytime I want yummy homemade bread recipe...phew! that was a mouthful ;) ENJOY!

This quick recipe is for whole wheat bread with fruits. This recipe will make about 3 small loaves of whole wheat fruit bread.

Ingredients:

- 1 yeast cake
- 2 c. lukewarm liquid
- 2 Tb. fat
- 1/4 c. brown sugar stoned, chopped dates
- 2 tsp. salt
