Boy do these bring back great memories. My mom made these all the time, several times a week because we had so much corn on the cob and she liked to use it up while fresh. This is an excellent dish to serve with fresh corn, but you can use canned sweet corn if you dry it off good, or even frozen corn. You can serve this Southern delicacy with lunch or dinner, or heck even breakfast! It is just plain good.
