I think all cooks eventually have this experience, you're flicking through yet another recipe book when you come across a recipe that looks rather familiar. They'll be a few differences, the measures might be more exact, the method a little different, or maybe a new ingredient or two, but the core of the dish is one you've seen and cooked before. Once you've found this doppleganger, you ask yourself, is the recipe you've been using for years still 'yours' or do you now have to give credit to the author of this new recipe book?
This is a dilemma that I've been wrestling with for years...
