Ingredients
3 ounces cream cheese
1 tablespoon warm milk
2 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
In a large mixing bowl mash cream cheese with milk. Add sugar, gradually and then add vanilla. Beat until creamy. Any other desired flavoring may be substituted for the vanilla. **Add a melted one ounce square unsweetened chocolate for a delicious "chocolate" cream cheese frosting!
Tips for successful cake frosting...
- Place strips of wax paper under the edges of the cake; remove after cake has been frosted.
- Cool cake and brush crumbs from it before frosting.
- Fill layers and frost sides before frosting top of cake.
