Whatever the size of your kitchen, however much you may cook, it's always a good idea to have a larder stocked with basic essentials that you might need.

To help me keep track of what is in my larder I have made up a "recipe card" with all of the items listed. This way, when I make up my shopping list I only have to go down the card to check off what I am out of or running low on.

This is another method I use to make cooking easier and more economical.

Great tips about keeping your pantry (larder :) stocked...it saves a lot of time and truly is economical to think this way.
