If you're looking for ways to use up a bit of extra beef or chicken, then look no further.

Nothing is better for stretching food budget dollars a little bit than turning that left over roast dinner into a savoury pie. Our favourite is the cottage pie, a mixture of meat, onions and other vegetables cooked and mixed with a gravy in a casserole dish. Then topped with a thick layer of mashed potatoes before being placed in the oven to brown on top and get hot and bubbly underneath.
