Fresh, ripe pears work perfectly for this blended smoothie. As a matter of fact just typing out this delish drink makes me wish I had a couple of pears on hand to make this. Get your blender ready, here goes...

Ingredients:
2/3 cup milk or non-dairy substitute
1/4 cup non-sweetened fruit concentrate; your flavor choice
3 ripe pears, cored and sliced into chunks
12 ice cubes

Place milk or non‐dairy substitute and all remaining ingredients in blender in order given. Blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into a chilled glass...enjoy!

Try:
- Adding a few dollops of non-fat yogurt before blending
- Mix in a drizzle of honey if you are using tart fruit juice, like straight up cranberry juice
- Make this a power smoothie with the addition of protein powder
